HR and Digital Transformation
Higher Education Sector
Context
The university needed to replace an outdated HR system with an evolving cloud-based solution, without relying on internal development. However, the complexity of the academic environment and the rigidity of the cloud-based solution required a major redesign of processes and, in some cases, organizational structures.
Challenge
Mobilize 15,000 employees across 13 faculties and 11 administrative units around a major digital transformation involving the integration of 10 HR modules, within a highly complex environment marked by multiple collective agreements, diverse career paths, and distinct hiring processes.
Our Solution
Aplus Transition structured the end-to-end change management approach. We supported project sponsors, coordinated a broad network of over 150 champions and change agents, work organization and deployed integrated communication, engagement, and training strategies. A centralized collaborative environment was also implemented to support teams throughout the transformation.
Results Achieved
After several unsuccessful implementation attempts, the HR and digital transformation was successfully delivered in less than two years, with strong engagement across all faculties and administrative units.
